For the Patties

For the Dill Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Dried dill Ties the flavors together.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Adds a zesty punch.
  • 1 cup Plain non-fat Greek yogurt Creamy base that pairs perfectly.

For Serving

  • 1 small Cucumber Thinly sliced for crunch.
  • 15 small Mini pitas Soft and fluffy vessels for sliders.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, add the ground lamb, rosemary, oregano, grated garlic, minced onion, kosher salt, egg yolk, breadcrumbs, and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 15 equal portions and flatten each into patties.
  • Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat, add ½ tablespoon olive oil, and cook half the patties for 2-3 minutes, flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Cook the remaining patties in the same manner, adding more olive oil.
  • Combine Greek yogurt, dried dill, lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon olive oil in a small bowl for the sauce.
  • Cut slits in each pita, stuff with a warm patty, drizzle dill sauce, and add cucumber slices.
