- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
