Main Ingredients
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup milk (dairy or your favorite plant-based milk)
- 1 teaspoon butterfly pea tea (or one teabag)
- ½ stick cinnamon (or ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon)
- 1 teaspoon chamomile tea (or one teabag)
- 1 teaspoon honey (or to taste)
Preparation Steps
In a small pot, heat the water and add the butterfly pea tea, cinnamon, and chamomile. Let it simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.
Add the milk and keep on low heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
Stir in about 1 teaspoon of honey until it dissolves. You can adjust the amount of honey to your preferred sweetness.
Use a fine sieve to strain out the leaves and particles from the tea.
Pour the Moon Milk Tea into your favorite cup, and add a fresh or dried butterfly pea flower or sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for a cozy finish. Enjoy your soothing, blue-hued tea!
