Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Lightly coat both sides with all-purpose flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add unsalted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth. Stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  • Simmer sauce for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced. Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over chicken. Cook for 2 more minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
