Ingredients
  

For the Crust

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
  • 4 large pita breads
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced
  • ½ medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Add chicken slices to the marinade, coat evenly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through and slightly charred.
  • Warm pita breads on the grill for 30 seconds per side until soft and pliable.
  • Assemble wraps by placing grilled chicken, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and parsley in the center of each pita.
  • Drizzle with extra yogurt or tahini sauce if desired, then fold and serve immediately.
