Steaks

  • 2 pieces filet mignon steaks 1.5–2 inches thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 blue cheese Optional for topping

Cooking Steps

  • Bring steaks to room temperature for 10 minutes and pat dry.
  • Rub steaks with olive oil and season evenly with salt and pepper.
  • Mix butter with garlic and parsley, then chill.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place steaks in basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 8 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check internal temperature with thermometer.
  • Remove steaks and rest under foil for 5 minutes.
  • Top with butter and serve warm.

Notes

Use a thermometer for accurate doneness. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Resting keeps the steak juicy. Medium rare is best at 130–135°F. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.
