Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 12 pieces Medjool Dates Pitted
  • ½ cup Pistachio Cream Can substitute with Nutella

Crunch

  • 1 cup Shredded Phyllo Dough Can substitute with crushed cookies
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For toasting kataifi

Drizzle

  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips Or any chocolate of choice

Optional Toppings

  • ¼ cup Crushed Pistachios For garnishing

Preparation

  • In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped kataifi and toast until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Mix in the pistachio cream until well combined and then remove from heat.
  • Place dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  • Lay the pitted Medjool dates on a parchment-lined sheet. Fill each date with about 1 teaspoon of the pistachio mixture.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate generously over the filled dates. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top if desired.
  • Place the filled dates in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
