- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, chopped about 1 cup
- 2 stalks celery, chopped about 1 cup
- 2.5 cups Chicken Broth either Swanson® or Certified Organic
- 1 cup dried cherries, coarsely chopped
- ½ cup toasted almonds, chopped
- 12 ounces Pepperidge Farm® Country Style Stuffing
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a 3-quart saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat.
Add the onion and celery and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the broth, cherries, and almonds.
Add the stuffing and mix lightly.
Spoon the mixture into a greased 3-quart casserole and cover.
Bake for 30 minutes or until hot.
