Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Italian seasoning
  • red pepper flakes
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onion until softened, then add garlic.
  • Brown the ground beef in the skillet until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  • Stir in tomato paste and seasonings; cook for a few minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Add heavy cream and beef broth; simmer for about 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  • Gradually incorporate Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Toss the cooked rigatoni in the sauce; use reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  • Serve hot with optional garnishes like parsley or extra Parmesan.
