Puff Pastry and Cheese
- 1 sheet frozen and thawed puff pastry
- 3 ounces brie cheese
Cranberry and Nuts
- ½ cup spicy cranberry jelly such as Austin Slow Burn
- ¼ cup loosely chopped hazelnuts
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
Lay the thawed puff pastry out across a cutting board. Cut the dough into 3 equal sections, then cut 4 even squares from each piece. You should have 12 pieces total.
Gently press each pastry square into 12 cavities in the prepared muffin tin to create small baskets for the brie and jelly.
Cut the brie into 12 (½-inch) squares. Place one square of cheese in each tin.
Add 1 teaspoon of spicy cranberry jelly on top of the cheese in each pastry cup. Top with the chopped hazelnuts.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until pastry dough is golden and brie has melted. Serve warm.
