  • 2 cups chicken cooked and chopped
  • 8 ounces ham cooked and diced

Sauce and Cheese

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz each
  • 2 cups swiss cheese shredded

  • pepper to taste
  • dried parsley to taste

Crust

  • 18 Ritz butter crackers crushed

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a large 9 x 13 casserole dish and set aside.
  • Combine all ingredients except crushed crackers in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and sprinkle with the crushed crackers.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to swap the Swiss cheese for mozzarella, provolone, or mild cheddar. This is great for using up leftover cooked chicken and holiday ham. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 4-5 days. For freezing, prepare without the crackers and cover well; bake with crackers after thawing overnight in the fridge.
