Ingredients
  

BUN

  • 100 g almond flour
  • 30 g unflavoured whey isolate
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 50 g butter melted
  • 60 ml water
  • salt
  • pepper

"LOBSTER" (crab) SALAD

  • 250 g real crab or lobster meat chopped
  • 1-2 sticks celery chopped
  • 2-3 pieces green onions chopped
  • 80 g onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 0.5 unit lemon juice from half
  • lettuce a few leaves

Instructions

  • For the buns - mix all the bun ingredients together in a mixing bowl until a thick batter forms.
  • Scoop the batter into greased hot dog bun molds (I used parchment paper to line mine).
  • Wet your hands and smooth down the top of the dough.
  • Bake at 350°F / 175°C for 10-12 minutes.
  • While your buns cook - Stir together all the ingredients for the lobster/crab salad in a mixing bowl.
  • When the buns are done, let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Slice them open like a hot dog bun and place a few leaves of lettuce in the opening.
  • Fill it with the lobster/crab salad.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

This makes roughly 5 lobster rolls.
